Joyfully Connecting Our Community with the Wonder of the Refuge

Photo Society Monthly Meeting

  • April 06, 2017
  • 7:00 PM
  • Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge, 19255 SW Pacific Hwy, Sherwood OR 97140

We will have a presentation on Hummingbird Photography by Don Nelson.

We’ll talk about the advantages of different types of photography and the equipment needed.

You must attend this meeting if you want to sign up for a time slot at an off-the-refuge setup for photographing Anna’s (and maybe Rufous) Hummingbirds. Slots will be limited. We are fortunate that a member has opened his yard in Scholls to enable us to use feeders (no feeding of birds is permitted on the refuge).

Tualatin River Photographic Society (TRPS) provides nature photographers of all skill levels a variety of opportunities to improve their skills and share knowledge with others. TRPS meets on the first Thursday of each month from September-June and offers guest speakers, photo contests, field trips, and educational programs. We welcome visitors and new members.

We are a program of the Friends of the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge.
