Joyfully Connecting Our Community with the Wonder of the Refuge

November 2nd Saturday Work Party

  • November 09, 2024
  • 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM
  • Tualatin River NWR

Registration is closed

Join us for a morning of habitat restoration! We will be working on the Tualatin River NWR bioswale. This public facing area supports wildlife and filters runoff from impervious surfaces, utilizing the power of plants to minimize the ecological impact of these spaces. We will be fighting the invasive plants that are moving into the bioswale, ensuring that the many birds, butterflies, bees and more that rely on the native plant community there will continue to have habitat resources at their Refuge!

We will be starting promptly at 9:00 a.m. and will wrap up by 11:30 a.m. Meet at the Tualatin River NWR Visitor Center.

Tools, snacks, gloves, and training will be provided.
