Joyfully Connecting Our Community with the Wonder of the Refuge

Nature Ambassadors - Busy Beavers

  • October 23, 2019
  • 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
  • Sherwood Public Library

Note: This program is not located on the refuge. The program will be at Sherwood Public Library (22560 SW Pine St, Sherwood, OR 97140).

Leave it to the Busy Beavers! Join us to learn about the unique aquatic adaptations that make Beavers such efficient environmental engineers. Examine Beaver Specimens, learn about the crucial role they play in the development of wetland habitats and even how they help clean your water! Complete a scavenger hunt to win prizes, create your own beaver tracks craft to take home, help a beaver find his way to a tree through a maze, or just spin our beaver trivia wheel for some quick facts on the go!
