This video will share the ancestral to present day connection members of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde have to Wapato Lake.  This connection ties to  the ancient stories, the present and looking to the future as partners with the US Fish and Wildlife Service.


This video will share about the importance of wapato to members of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde.  The video will include information on the wapato plant and its growing conditions and why it is an important regional traditional food.
