Christmas Bird Count

Registration is closed

Join one of the Nation's longest running community science projects! Bird for a good cause! Come birding at sites on the Refuge not open to the public! We'll meet at Shari's in Sherwood for Breakfast and instructions at 7:00 am, but will split up into teams to survey different portions of the Refuge and surrounding accessible natural areas. This is an all day event. Wrap-up pot luck at the Refuge @ 4. We can provide binoculars if needed, but bring your own if you have them!
