Friends' Annual Meeting Nature Walk

Interested in learning more about the Heritage Pine Unit?  Join a Friends' Only guided nature walk immediately following the Friends' Annual Meeting on October 14, 2023. 

This tour is limited to the first 14 Friends' members to register. The group will carpool to the site and a guide will talk with you about the importance of the land and the cooperative relationship USFWS has with Metro to care for this unit. Dress for the weather and be prepared to walk on uneven surfaces. The tour will last approximately 90 minutes. This includes transportation time to and from the unit.
