Friends Celebrate Spring! Guided Bird Walk on the Seasonal Trail

Friends of the Tualatin River NWR!

Join us for a guided nature and birding walk on the Refuge's Seasonal Trail on Saturday, May 4th. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore the Refuge with our knowledgeable naturalists, Diane (a former science teacher and avid birder) and Brian (who has experience working at Hawk Mountain, a major migratory banding site).

Space is limited to 12 participants, so register early! Friends can register online. Please make sure your membership is current before registering.

The walk will begin at 7:30 am at the Environmental Education Shelter and last approximately 3 hours. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes, as the trail has varied terrain. Binoculars or spotting scopes are recommended.

A waitlist will be compiled if needed. We look forward to celebrating the opening of the seasonal trail with you!
